Position Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for managing detailed event logistics, coordinating speaker travel, and building relationships with customers, speakers, and coworkers. This role ensures the smooth execution of events, handling any issues that arise with professionalism and efficiency. The Event Manager must make independent decisions under pressure and work to exceed expectations in all aspects of event management.

Key Responsibilities
— Ensure flawless execution of speaker participation at customer events, anticipating and overcoming any obstacles.
— Provide outstanding customer service, delivering 24/7 support and creating lasting value and trust with customers and speakers.
— Cultivate and grow relationships with customers and world-class speakers, using various forms of communication.
— Coordinate logistics for every speaker engagement, including travel, transportation, and accommodations.
— Maintain strong communication with speakers and host organizations, ensuring all event needs are met.
— Serve as a liaison for special requests and represent the company at local and out-of-town engagements.
— Research and compile event-specific information to support speaker engagements.
— Update and maintain records in the CRM, ensuring all data is accurate and timely.
— Collaborate with sales teams and host organizations to promote future bookings and assist with speaker contracts.

Qualifications
— Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
— Experience in event logistics, customer service, or a related field.
— Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
— Proficient in CRM systems and other event planning tools.
— Flexibility to travel and work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.

Compensation

Our client has set a base salary range of $85,000 to $95,000.

The salary range listed is a good faith estimate provided by our client. The client may modify the job description, which could impact the salary range, resulting in a final offer above or below the range listed. The offer will be based on various factors, including years of experience, skills, educational background, and other relevant qualifications. The client retains ultimate responsibility for crafting the offer.
