Position Summary:

The Family Office Accountant is responsible for managing daily financial operations, preparing detailed financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support financial strategy, wealth preservation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

— Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
— Manage bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
— Oversee cash flow management, family budgets, and expense tracking.
— Monitor and report on investments, liaising with financial advisors and wealth managers.
— Ensure tax compliance through collaboration with external tax advisors and preparation of necessary filings.
— Develop and implement internal financial controls and process improvements.
— Provide strategic financial planning support and risk analysis for new investments.

Qualifications:

— Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
— Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a family office or UHNW setting.
— Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong knowledge of tax regulations.
— Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
— Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
