Our client is a professional household in Georgetown seeking an experienced Household Manager to ensure the seamless operation of a large urban residence. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail, flexibility, and discretion are paramount.
Position Summary:
The Household Manager will oversee daily household operations, hospitality services, and property maintenance, working closely with other staff and vendors. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
— Deliver exceptional hospitality services for the principals and their guests.
— Organize and maintain the kitchen and pantry, ensuring inventory is well-stocked.
— Conduct routine property inspections and handle minor maintenance tasks.
— Coordinate vehicle care, including fueling, cleaning, and arranging service.
— Perform light housekeeping duties as needed and assist with errands.
— Manage household supplies, tracking and restocking inventory.
— Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and handle incoming calls.
— Undertake special projects and support ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
— Previous household management experience with verifiable references.
— Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
— Discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
— Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other staff.
— Valid driver’s license with a clean record; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation
Our client has set a base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000.
The salary range listed is a good faith estimate provided by our client. The client may modify the job description, which could impact the salary range, resulting in a final offer above or below the range listed. The offer will be based on various factors, including years of experience, skills, educational background, and other relevant qualifications.
